Pantomime
This year, the sixth production of The Interior Designers’ Pantomime, Jack and the Blingstalk is playing at the Harold Pinter Theatre, in the heart of London’s West End.
Every year the pantomime grows, both the scale of the production and the sum of funds raised for the nominated charities. This year we are delighted to support William Yeoward’s charity, Screw Cancer. From the outset William was a huge part of the Panto family and one of the main pillars of its success. His charismatic performance will be sorely missed. In his memory, we are all delighted to support Screw Cancer in their mission to create an App to provide cancer sufferers with all the vital information they need in one place. William’s remarkable legacy will be available through the Maggie’s and the NHS.
The pantomime will run from Sunday 3rd November until Thursday 7th November. The 800 seater, Grade 2 listed theatre, built in 1881 is one of the gems of ‘theatreland’. We expect Jack and the Blingstalk to play to an audience of over 4000, from industry professionals to theatre loving public. Stunning, heritage listed theatres have an exceptional reputation for world class productions, so it is a great honour and privilege to tread these hallowed boards.
The costumes will be designed by legendary names from British and International fashion houses. In 2014 these included Vivienne Westwood, Zandra Rhodes, Jasper Conran, Bruce Oldfield, Tomasz Starzewski and Oscar winning designer Jenny Beavan.
