Wanted: a Senior Designer to join our team!

Your Skills:

  • Have at least 4+ years’ experience in high end residential interior design

  • An exceptional eye for detail, colour and knowledge of FF&E suppliers

  • A track record of building and maintaining strong relationships using your interpersonal skills

  • Must be organised, used to working to tight deadlines and respond well to feedback

  • Be proficient in AutoCAD, Sketchup / Photoshop, In Design, EstiMac, Microsoft Office

Role and Responsibilities:

  • As a lead designer within in the team you will need manage your own projects and collaborate with others.  You will take ownership of running the projects, from start to finish (including but not limited to creating mood boards, scheme design, specifications, ordering, supplier management, delivery, installation, and snagging), communicating effectively with both clients and suppliers throughout the agreed project process

  • Run your FF&E orders through EstiMac ensuring details are kept up to date during the project lifecycle.

  • Organise site visits and meetings with contractors as required throughout the process, and collection and delivery of items from suppliers to upholsterers and clients whilst working to agreed project timelines and budgets.

  • Manage the finances of your project in conjunction with the accounts team.

  • Installing projects on site on pre-approved dates.

  • Going through snagging lists after installing a property, to make sure all final tasks are completed.

  • Enjoy the thrill of finding new opportunities and pitching for new business

Other duties may be required from time to time within the changing environment of a growing business.  This is a full-time role 9-5.30pm based in the showroom in Chelsea. You will be required to drive the Kelling van to clients and/or the showroom in Norfolk from time to time for which you will need a full clean Driving License.

Salary: dependent on experience.
